Go as a Scrabbler for HALLOWEEN.

Tomorrow is officially Halloween, but I guess most people were celebrating it yesterday. And by most people I really mean, most people that are "adults". I went to a couple wild parties that the cops shut down and Scrabble tiles were confiscated as evidence. Yes, a wild party. Astronomic in greatness. What I really did though, was watch "The Descent" for the 3rd or 4th year in a row.

What a fantastic movie. It remains great with each viewing and it was the first horror movie I've seen this Halloween season.

Earlier this week we played Scrabble and I managed to get a rack of tiles with two related film titles.

Maybe this means there should be a Halloween themed Scrabble game? No, that would be ridiculous, and how often do you get enough tiles to play "Friday the 13th part VII: The New Blood"? Not very often. However, if you did get the chance you SHOULD play that. Points + TelekeneticTeenVs.Jason = great success.

That same game I also acquired this lovely combo:

I would have liked to play these too. However, no dictionary is cool enough to have Devo in it, unless its a dictionary produced by Brian Eno. Abe, could go any which way, I was thinking presidential, but some may think Simpsonic. Either is acceptable, except to the conspiring dictionary companies.

Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of the complete board. It was a glorious game. I won by about 40 points (199 - 150? - 5?). Thats a high score for me, but the real scrabblers are probably thinking, "newb". I don't remember the other two scores because I didn't care what they were since I won. I was busy sipping champagne, and hanging with Michael Jordan while we held up the third trophy we won in a row! I would have a picture of the board...but one foul player who's name is now protected by the Scrabbler Protection Program, started to take the tiles off the board. I said "wait!". He said "ahahahahaha" and wrecked my life.

Happy halloween!
